Government & smart cities: common questions

Ask us directly

How much does a public information LED display cost?

It depends on your requirement: display area, pitch and the structure, which NexGlow engineers and installs in-house. The delivered Nagarpalika Petlad display measures 15 ft by 10 ft. Quotes are fixed and all-inclusive — display, structure and installation.

Has NexGlow delivered a municipal installation before?

Yes. NexGlow delivered a 15 ft by 10 ft outdoor LED display for Nagarpalika Petlad in a central public park in Gujarat, used for government scheme awareness, public announcements and live event broadcasting. The build included a reinforced foundation with a 10 mm MS base plate, 12-inch vertical support poles, underground conduit cabling and 48 hours of continuous commissioning testing.

How is a display in an open public park kept stable and safe?

Exposed sites carry full wind load, so the structure matters as much as the panel. The Petlad installation uses a deep foundation with a reinforced cage and PCC base, a 10 mm MS base plate, 12-inch diameter vertical poles and a load-distribution framework. Electrical routing runs through underground conduit for weatherproofing, and the build followed municipal safety standards and approval processes.

Can one municipal display be expanded into a network later?

Yes. Displays are cloud-managed, so content pushes to any number of screens across wards, towns or districts from a single interface. The Petlad model is designed to scale to additional locations, including rural and Smart Village deployments, without replacing the content infrastructure.
